Ars Mensae

The Art of the Table

Ars Mensae is Latin. It means 'the art of the table'. In ancient Rome a banquet was not just about eating, it was a ritual. There were flowers, there was order, there was intention in every detail. Setting a beautiful table is exactly that: a small, everyday act of art.

Our Story

When I was looking for a name for the shop, I knew it had to reflect all of that. And in Latin, which I have loved since my school days, I found the words that captured exactly what I felt. Ars Mensae was born of that conviction: that the table deserves care, attention and beauty.

The Details Have a Story

That is why each of our placemats carries the name of a woman of Roman origin — Livia, Flavia, Claudia... Because at Ars Mensae the details have a story. Every piece is chosen with care, with those who value quality and the meaning behind what they place on their table in mind.

Our Promise

We offer carefully selected pieces that turn every meal into a special moment. Because the table is much more than a place to eat: it is where life happens, where we celebrate, where we share.

Welcome to Ars Mensae.
