Livia Green · Round Scalloped Placemat, 37.5 cm
Livia Green · Round Scalloped Placemat, 37.5 cm
Description
Some placemats go unnoticed, and some start conversations. Livia Green is the second kind: it's a rare meal where someone doesn't end up studying it to find out where it came from. Sage green —the garden in August, the herbs of Provence— has that quiet elegance that makes the table look as though it was always set this way.
Round, scalloped, and the sort that dresses the table without asking for any effort in return. You lay it down, it works, and an ordinary Sunday lunch quietly moves up a class. For everyday dining, for when guests come over, and to give to anyone who understands that setting a beautiful table is also a way of caring.
